Delete Data and Revoke Access

Aster keeps your personal data primarily on your device, so you control it directly and completely.

Effective date: 2 August 2026

Delete inside Aster

  1. Open Aster and go to Me → Data & Permissions.
  2. Select the data source and tap Disconnect.
  3. After you confirm, Aster deletes the token from the iOS keychain and stops reading that source.
  4. Clear local records and AI conversations in the app’s settings; to remove all local data, uninstall Aster.

Revoke the Google grant

When you disconnect Google Health, Aster calls Google’s revocation endpoint directly from the device. You can also sign in to your Google Account and remove Aster under third-party connections & access.

What happens after deletion

  • Aster can no longer read new data from a disconnected source unless you authorise it again.
  • Local records and conversations deleted from the device cannot be recovered.
  • Data you sent to a third-party AI on a per-request basis must be managed or deleted under that third party’s policy.
  • Aster servers hold no Google tokens and no Google Health data, so there is nothing server-side to delete.
